I led Burlington’s citywide communications efforts for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. Working with a dynamic, multi-departmental team, I named the event, wrote the promotional copy and web content, and helped organize media coverage leading up to and during the most well-attended event in city history. Lake Champlain Chocolates

A freelance project for Ruthless & Wellington, I combined brand strategy and audience research to create the copy for these holiday campaigns for Lake Champlain Chocolates. Design by Katie Rutherford.

Spotify Sound Town

I was Burlington’s spokesperson when the New York Times, Washington Post, Time Magazine, and NBC covered Spotify’s “Sound Town” feature, which placed Spotify listeners into vibey locales based on listening habits.

Masks Mean Business

The City of Burlington tasked my comms team at BCA to work with the Resource & Recovery Center on effective Covid 19 communications. “Masks Mean Business” helped relay the connection between public safety and the local economy. Design by Ted Olson.

City Hall Park Renovation Banners

I drew on deep research into Burlington history and planning proposals to create barrier-wrapping banners displayed during City Hall Park’s construction. The historical plaque I wrote contextualizing the renovations remains permanently on display in the park. Design by Ted Olson.

Flynn Center Promotional Copy

During my tenure as the Flynn Center’s marketing content manager, I wrote the web, print, and social copy, promoting a variety of artists and performances from Randy Newman, Marc Maron, and Mavis Staples to Herbie Hancock, King Lear, and Philip Glass. Design by S+H Design.
