COPYWRITING & COMMUNICATIONS
I led Burlington’s citywide communications efforts for the April 8 total solar eclipse. Working with a dynamic, multi-departmental team, I named the event, wrote the promotional copy and web content, and helped organize media coverage leading up to and during the most well-attended event in city history. Design by Ted Olson.
Ruthless & Wellington holiday and Valentine’s Day campaigns for Lake Champlain Chocolates. Design by Katie Rutherford.
I was Burlington’s spokesperson when the New York Times, Washington Post, Time Magazine, and NBC covered Spotify’s “Sound Town” feature, which placed Spotify listeners into vibey locales based on listening habits.
The City of Burlington tasked my comms team at BCA to work with the Resource & Recovery Center on effective communications. “Masks Mean Business” helped relay the connection between public safety and the local economy. Design by Ted Olson.
I drew on deep research into Burlington history and planning proposals to create barrier-wrapping banners while City Hall Park was under construction. The historical plaque I wrote contextualizing the renovations remains permanently on display in the park.
During my tenure as the Flynn Center’s marketing content manager, I wrote the web, print, and social performance copy, from Randy Newman, Marc Maron, and Mavis Staples to Herbie Hancock, King Lear, and Philip Glass.
